Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi
Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi (1980* in New York) has lived in Harare and Johannesburg on and off since the early 1990s. She is a painter, video artist and filmmaker who divides her time between studio work and the field of collaborative practice. All her work examines existing structures - physical, architectural, social – and often tries to imagine alternatives. Nkosi is an artist in residence at the Bag Factory Artists’ Studios in Johannesburg and holds a MFA degree of School of Visual Arts (NY. USA).
