Sulafa Hijazi
Sulafa Hijazi is a Visual artist, in addition to her art work as an illustrator, Hijazi began her career as a writer and director of animation TV series and other media and films production.
Born in 1977, Damascus–Syria
She studied at the Adham Ismail Centre for Fine Arts and the Higher Institute of the Dramatic Arts in Syria, where she majored in Dramatic Studies.
S.Hijazi began her professional career 1997 as a writer and director of animation TV series and other media and films production with a particular focus on children education and social development.
Her productions include different types of animation, live drama, puppet shows, documentaries, print media, multimedia, and a host of conceptual media campaigns.
At the beginning of 2010 she established “blue.dar” a digital art production house based in the Middle East.
Hijazi has received more than 12 awards for her work, among them the golden prize in (Hollywood, Russia, India, Cairo, Iran..) for her latest feature animation The Jasmine Birds.
