Shwayet mayy—Some Water
Rayelle Niemann
Jordan is facing a huge water problem. Yet, public awareness to economize the use of water is not being addressed, nor taught. The pleasure of washing the car everyday, sprinkling gardens and swimming pools built in the parks of villas in desert areas cannot be dimmed. The water level of the Dead Sea is decreasing drastically every year.

Water is one of the most precious resources. The existence of water is taken for granted by a lot, desperately missed by others.
«mayy mutabakha» – «evaporated water» – was written on small precious looking bottles used for perfume and distributed to people in the streets. All the bottles were empty – of cause.
